Brugge (Bruges) [April 2018]
Brugge (or Bruges) is the capital of West Flanders, Belgium. As you’ll see in this post, it’s a glorious maze of cobblestoned streets, canals, and crow-stepped gabled and medieval buildings!

Recommended: Don’t be afraid to get lost in the streets if Brugge! Take your time to explore and wander; eat as many Belgian waffles and chocolate and frites as you can (in fact there’s a cute Friet museum all about potatoes and fries!); don’t forget to look up at the buildings and their decorations. Take a canal cruise (30 min) to get a different view of the town. The Novotel in Brugge is a cosy and reasonable place to stay the night.
